This project involved the addition of over 2 miles of 4000 Amp busduct to the existing copper fab (FAB1) facility, as well as a brand new 2-story 20,000 square foot building to house all the distribution equipment required to supply power to this equipment. This facility was in operation the entire time, requiring FSG's expertise and innovation to navigate the complexity of installing this equipment around live sprinkler lines, gas lines, and other electrical systems. Due to the congestion of the ceiling space, FSG had to "design build" this project on the fly. Working seven days a week for 4 months, FSG completed the project in just over 160,000 man-hours, peaking at just over 250 electricians, and completing the project 1 month ahead of schedule.
